Life Chinese has been a great experience! Through the class, I've reached a fluent level of Chinese proficiency. Since my goal was to take the AP exam, the class introduced me to the format of the AP exam and helped me learn test-taking skills like speech planning or skimming text. All of this has been immensely helpful and is the reason why I was able to achieve a 5 in AP Chinese. Overall, I highly recommend this class!

My boys have been attending Life Chinese for 3 years. We are not a Chinese speaking family at home so it has been great to see my children
be able to understand, correspond and read in Chinese. What is more amazing is that they are learning with just an one hour class a week. Learning another language is never easy, especially one as difficult as Chinese. The fact my boys are learning is a testament of the dedication that Laoshi has towards her students' success.

Chienling is a very kind and patient teacher who spends a lot of time on the curriculum, making it fun and engaging for the students. My son began his classes with her in person and transitioned to live online classes during shelter-in-place, and he was still able to learn and retain so much.
